Erstream streamed FIBA 2019 via AI assisted DAION

Erstream streamed FIBA 2019 basketball matches on NTV.COM.TR with personalized digital advertisements via AI assisted DAION technology that can generate targeted content for each viewer on the same stream.

TECH AND PURPOSE BEHIND DAION

On a regular TV broadcast, content is delivered via a fixed linear stream. Viewers get bored especially on advertisement breaks, the minute ads start, they zap to other channels and quit watching the content altogether.

DAION is an end to end digital streaming technology that transforms online video content into personalized viewing experience with AI support. If viewers are watching online via a DAION supported platform, they only see targeted ads based on their interests which attracts their attention. Thus, they don’t need to switch to other channel or content.

Erstream releases DAI and Social Clipper platform DAION

Global CDN and streaming solutions company Erstream has released its Dynamic Ad Insertion and Social Clipper platform ‘DAION’, and has also started its latest project in partnership with Jordan Media City (JMC), a media hub in the Middle East, for its MySat GO Platform.

DAION provides an ad replacement option for video ads on live streams with targeted ads without affecting the viewing experience of end users. Erstream DAION uses an AI based video processing technology to recognise video segments on live streams without any need for ad-markers on playout level. DAION is also a strong tool for OTT platforms in their fight against piracy with fingerprinting and watermarking support to identify pirate broadcaster when streams are re-broadcasted illegally.

Can you give us some background on Erstream? How did it come about and what have been some of the milestones in its development?
We are a leading internet video technology and service company in our market with more than 14 years of experience. We are delivering scalable end-to-end OTT services including downlink, cloud encoding, content management, CDN and client application development.
We are delivering innovative tailor-made turnkey solutions at a very competitive cost. We collaborate with Turkey’s and the world’s established content owners and broadcasters.
Erstream has encoding and downlink services in six different data centers in Germany, Spain, London and Turkey by which we serve over 400 live channels around the world.
We started as a software development company and as time passed evolved to a service and video delivery company.

What are Erstream’s main products?
We deliver both products and services. The products are: Encoder; Content management system; and CDN software. The main challenge is reaching international markets. We are very successful in our local market. We have to bring this success to international.

4K yayınları ADSL üstünden izletecek

Erstream, 4K kalitesindeki yayınları dar bant genişlikleri üstünden göstermeyi mümkün hale getirdi!

Geleceğin video teknolojisi olarak adlandırılan 4K yayınları, daha önceki HD teknolojisine kıyasla çok daha geniş saklama alanı ve yayın gösterimi için de bant genişlikleri gerektiriyor.
