Global CDN and streaming solutions company Erstream has released its Dynamic Ad Insertion and Social Clipper platform ‘DAION’, and has also started its latest project in partnership with Jordan Media City (JMC), a media hub in the Middle East, for its MySat GO Platform.
DAION provides an ad replacement option for video ads on live streams with targeted ads without affecting the viewing experience of end users. Erstream DAION uses an AI based video processing technology to recognise video segments on live streams without any need for ad-markers on playout level. DAION is also a strong tool for OTT platforms in their fight against piracy with fingerprinting and watermarking support to identify pirate broadcaster when streams are re-broadcasted illegally.

In partnership with Global Teleport giant JMC, Erstream launched the MySat GO OTT platform, offering a wide variety of Arabic, Italian and Greek channels. The MySat GO platform provides a selection of general entertainment, drama, movies, news, music and religious Arabic live channels and a VoD service to its subscribers in the APAC region, Canada and Brasil. Thanks to Erstream DAION, MySat GO operates unmanned VoD ingest workflows and 60+ live channels with advanced features such as time-shifting, reverse EPG, Dynamic Ad Insertion, catch-up TV and NPVR.
